IB DP CORE ELEMENTS
The three core components of the IB Diploma Programme are designed to enrich student learning and foster critical thinking, research skills, and personal growth:
-
Theory of Knowledge (TOK): Students explore the nature of knowledge and reflect on how we know what we claim to know, encouraging deeper understanding across disciplines.
-
Extended Essay (EE): A 4,000-word, independent research paper that allows students to investigate a topic of personal interest, cultivating academic writing and inquiry skills.
-
Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS): Students engage in meaningful experiences and complete a project that integrates creativity, physical activity, and service, promoting personal development and community involvement.
